# Tensile — reformer Pilates studio template

> Tensile, a free open-source reformer Pilates and fitness studio website template built on the Storefront API, plus a reformer-studio seed dataset.

## Tensile — open-source reformer Pilates studio template

The eighth open-source Opencals template is live, and the first one built for a
**class-based fitness studio**. **Tensile** is a reformer Pilates studio in
Berlin with three studios, live online classes and eight instructors. The same
[Storefront API](https://opencals.com/docs/api-reference/introduction.md) and typed
[TypeScript SDK](https://opencals.com/docs/guides/storefront-sdk.md) as the other templates, with a
technical, warm design that uses the reformer spring colours as its intensity
scale.

* **A multi-studio weekly timetable** — every class names its instructor and shows the beds left in the room as bed pips, with filters you can share as a URL
* **One variant per class × studio × instructor** — each with its own schedule, one location, one staff member, and `maxAttendees` set to the beds in the room
* **Full classes** — the API drops a slot once it's full, so the template learns each series' weekly pattern, shows a missing week as Full, and links to the next class of the same type with space
* **Class sheet → checkout** — a room plan, extras, a price preview with the best discount, then on to checkout
* **Privates** — 1:1 and duet sessions sharing one product pool (a private room) per studio; a duet is one booking for two, carried as a custom attribute
* Dated workshops, live online classes with a Join button, and add-ons (grip socks, towel hire, recovery shake)
* Waiver and pregnancy checkout questions; an automatic intro offer, an automatic weekday off-peak discount and a `TENSILE10` code, where the best single discount wins
* Passwordless accounts: move or cancel up to 12 hours before, feedback, and a level path
* `ExerciseGym` structured data with a `SportsActivityLocation` per studio, Open Graph, `robots.txt` and `sitemap.xml` configured
* Stack: Next.js 15, TypeScript, Tailwind v4, Framer Motion, `@opencals/storefront-sdk` v0.3.18
* MIT licensed — clone, rebrand, deploy. One-click Vercel deploy.

### Reformer-studio seed dataset

New Dev Stores can choose the **Reformer Pilates Studio** dataset (category
Pilates & fitness, `reformer_studio`). It seeds the three studios and the
online room, eight instructors, the weekly timetable capped at the beds in each
room, privates, three workshops, add-ons, checkout questions, the three
discounts and sample bookings with some classes already full, so the template
matches the demo out of the box.
