Opencals connects directly with the services your business already uses. Calendar syncing, video conferencing, and payment processing plug in without extra middleware.

Google Calendar

Connect a Google Calendar and Opencals writes every booking into it — created, rescheduled and cancelled appointments all keep the calendar event in step automatically.

• Automatic events — each Opencals appointment becomes a Google Calendar event with the service, customer and location or meeting link
• Per-staff setup — assign a calendar integration to individual staff members
• Kept in sync — reschedules update the event, cancellations remove it

Staff see all their Opencals appointments in Google Calendar without logging into the admin dashboard, and attendees are added to the event at the time of booking.

Zoom

For virtual appointments, Opencals generates a unique Zoom meeting link for each booking automatically. The link appears in the customer's confirmation email and the staff calendar invite — no manual creation or copy-pasting needed.

Zoom links are assigned per location — create an online location and assign your Zoom integration to it. Every booking at that location gets its own unique meeting.

Google Meet

Same as Zoom — a unique Google Meet link is created per booking and delivered in the confirmation email. Works independently or alongside Google Calendar integration (the link attaches to the calendar event automatically).

Stripe

Connect Stripe to accept card payments at booking. Stripe handles PCI compliance, supports all major cards, and deposits to your bank on your standard payout schedule.

• Available in test mode for development and in live mode for production
• Works on both standalone and Shopify platforms
• On Shopify: Stripe is used for bookings made through the Opencals storefront; widget bookings use Shopify Payments

Zapier

Zapier connects Opencals to thousands of other apps without writing code. Generate an Admin API key in the dashboard, paste it into a Zap, and pick an appointment event as the trigger.

Available triggers: Appointment Created, Appointment Rescheduled, Appointment Cancelled, Appointment Completed and Customer Feedback Shared. Zaps subscribe themselves when you switch them on and appear under Connected Zaps in your dashboard.

Shopify

If you sell on Shopify, Opencals installs as an embedded app: products, orders and customers stay in sync, and bookings go through Shopify checkout. See Shopify Integration.

API and Webhooks

Opencals has a public storefront REST API with an OpenAPI spec and a typed TypeScript SDK on npm, so you can build your own booking frontend or wire bookings into your own systems. Start at the developer docs or the Developers page.
